Henry was not happy that we woke him up from his nap in the church nursery. It was a loooooong 30 minute ride to lunch.....
He would stop crying every minute or so and check to make sure that I still cared. Aren't those tears pitiful?!?
Henry's mood cleared up as soon as we picked him up and held him [eh-hem, spoiled], so we were able to grab a few non-tearful shots before lunch.
We were sad that Auntie Lauren couldn't make it into town, but were glad to see Uncle Clifton (even though the visit was way too short)!
Having a baby has put an entirely new perspective on most of life, but especially on the sacrifice of Christ. I am so thankful for the mercy and grace of a loving God who sacrificed it all for us. We are so blessed.
Happy Easter to all!
1 Corinthians 15:3-4: For I delivered to you as of
first importance what I also received:
that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that
he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance
with the Scriptures.
